Shilpa Sayura Foundation is a non-profit organisation recognized as an NGO working to expand access to education, internet security, technology, knowledge and opportunity. For nearly two decades, we have supported young people, educators, women, schools, universities, public institutions and communities through inclusive digital learning, cyber security, disaster response, research, training and social innovation.
Our journey began with a strong commitment to local-language digital education and equal access to knowledge and enviornmental resellilince both digital and phicalk. including hu7man rightts and gender rersponsivess. Over time, our work has grown to address emerging national and community needs in cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things, climate technology, gender-responsive development, youth media, digital development, and national education.
Through long-term collaboration with development organisations, universities, government institutions, technology partners, civil-society networks and communities, Shilpa Sayura Foundation continues to build safer, smarter, more inclusive and more resilient futures.
We believe technology should not widen existing inequalities. It should help people learn, participate, create, lead and respond to the challenges affecting their communities. Our programmes therefore combine practical skills, research, partnerships and locally relevant solutions, reaching grassroots communities and the general public.

Our Work
For nearly 20 years, Shilpa Sayura Foundation has collaborated with international development organisations, universities, government institutions, technology companies, schools, media organisations and community networks. Through multiple community projects, Shilpa Sayura advances cybersecurity, responsible artificial intelligence, IoT, climate technology, gender equality, youth media, digital development and national education. Our work has supported learners, teachers, young people, women, schools, universities and communities across Sri Lanka. Through practical training, local-language resources, inclusive platforms, connected technologies and community programmes, we strengthen skills, resilience, participation and opportunities across Sri Lanka.
