Paint a Rainbow – Listen to youth voices in Sri Lanka was launched in June 2013 by Shilpa Sayura Foundation. This project aims address challenges faced by youth in civic participation through expression of their voices using creative media. The project shall increase youth awareness of civics and governance and train them on creative skills for enabling participation and dialog in society. Paint a rainbow project implemented in 10 districts partnering with local schools and telecentres. The youth shall be provided with learning resources and digital media equipment and computers to engaged in a media creation process for social transformation. Paint a Rainbow project is funded by United Nations Democracy Fund.
